Survival of the Fishes is a 2D game based on river pollution.

Survival of the Fishes is a 2D game for Windows and Android. It was created by a team of students for the Young Scientists Centre at UCLan. The game is an educational game based on river pollution, with the aim of complimenting the YSC workshop "Pollution Solution".

The game brings awareness to the subject of pollution, highlighting the different types of pollution and what causes them. We hope to inspire the players of the game to think about pollution and how it affects marine life.

The game is about protecting a fish from incoming waves of pollution which increases in difficulty as time goes on. Once the fish has died the player has a chance to come back to life by answering a river pollution based question. This along with the informational facts that are displayed on the main menu and during game play mean the game isn't just fun and re-playable, but also highly educating around the subject.
