Interpretation of Al-Ibriz is one of the monumental works of 'Ulama Nusantara from Rembang, KH. Bisri Mustofa, father of Gus Mus (KH. Mustofa Bisri). Tafsir Al-Ibriz Jawa Pegon is one of the best works of KH. Bisyri Musthofa taken from several well-known sources of interpretations that are muktabar such as Jalalain's Interpretation, As Showi's Tafsir, Munir's Tafsir, Baidhowi's Tafsir, Khozin's Interpretation and other interpretations.

This interpretation began to be written by him in 1951 AD, finished in 1960 AD. To be precise, on January 28, 1960 AD There were not a few obstacles and difficulties experienced by KH. When Bisri Mustofa wrote this commentary, thanks to his persistence and (according to KH. Bisri Mustofa himself) thanks to the help and blessing of the old Kyai at that time, Alhamdulillah this commentary was finished writing.
