Radio Tamasi Al Balad is Al Balad Theatre’s initiative, as a member of Tamasi collective, that aims to support independent regional music projects, through broadcasting them online & through the smart phones applications. Radio Tamasi Al Balad respects musicians’ copy & distribution rights; therefore it collects the written approvals from musicians themselves to broadcast their work, and believing in the essence of constant communication with emerging & established Arab musicians. Radio Tamasi Al Balad’s vision is to become the platform where new Arab musicians start their musical journey, where Arab musical culture is constantly promoted, and where Arab musicians pave their deepest & most mature musical future .

Tamasi is a collective of 11 Arab performing arts organizations who have been working locally, regionally and internationally. We are diverse and experienced organizations, supporting artistic excellence, embodying a firm commitment and strong artistic vision for arts and culture as a pivotal contributor to the achievement of social and political justice.
