Teni came into the entertainment industry with her freestyles on Instagram, but came into limelight whn her single, 'Fargin' became a hit. The song was widely accepted by Nigerian music lovers especially because of the powerful lyrics it came with.

Ever since she came into stardom, Teniola has written and released a good number of hits and she reportadely wrote the Davido's hit single, 'Like That'[s

Some of her have been doing well in the Nigerian music world and they always come with good visuals such as 'Wait', 'Pareke' and 'Askamaya' (visuals directed by award winning Paul Gambit).

As a drum player, Teni has played drums for past governors of the Lagos State such as Babatunde Fashola, Mohammed Buba Marwa and Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Her first single was 'Amen' and she was influenced into music by the likes of King Wasiu Ayinde, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Osita Osadebe and Dolly Parton.

She was previously signed into the Magic Finger, a Nigerian record label owned by top producer, Shizzi. In the year 2017, Teni got signed into another record label, the Dr. Dolor Entertainment.
