The Consent App

A platform to easily store sexual consent documentation between adults.

As you are reading this, sexual consent is happening all over the world. The Consent App is designed to discreetly document these encounters. The purpose of this application is to create an open dialogue about consent without sacrificing social nuance. The process can be completed in about one minute and mirrors the simplicity of exchanging phone numbers. How does it work? The first person inputs some identifying information, such as their name and phone number. Next, they review the consent form and sign their name. They hand the phone to their partner, who completes the steps for themselves. Finally, the app prompts them to take a picture together showing their coherence and willing participation in the process. The information is submitted and securely stored in our vault. A file number for the encounter is created and, if necessary, can be retrieved upon proper requests.
