Initiated by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in 2004, "The Hamburg Summit:

China meets Europe” is the leading economic conference on Sino-European

affairs. As a high-level platform for open dialogue between Europe and

China, it aims at enhancing economic relations and furthering mutual

understanding. Participants include leading business representatives as

well as policymakers and academics from China, Europe and other parts of

the world.

Guests of honour at "The Hamburg Summit" 2018 are Mr Liu He, Vice-Premier

of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Mrs. Margrethe

Vestager, Commissioner for Competition of the European Commission and

Andreas Scheuer, Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure,

Germany.
