FIFA clearly suggested the stadium could hold other sporting events and entertainment programs aimed at increasing the level of use and also finance, a recommendation from FIFA, among others, that the stadium could be used for other purposes related to the owner of the stadium (eg teams) and also the environment surrounding areas (for example for parking or rent for other events).

The document is clearly written: "The football stadium can be used for entertainment events such as concerts, festivals, theater acts, and other events."

In its execution, the use of stadiums for other events besides sporting events can indeed increase financial benefits for stadium owners. They can also spend some of this on stadium maintenance costs which are certainly not cheap.

In addition to the problem of money, the functioning of the stadium for other events can be an important part of the stadium's contribution to the surrounding community and environment. This is why stadiums are often rented out outside of sporting events.
