After working with this 3D App. learners or students should have a good overview of the main components of a chainsaw, understand what the components look like and where they are typically located in a chainsaw.

As part of its revitalization of forest training centres in Southern Africa, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) commissioned this App (there are three others in the series) to provide a mobile 3D teaching platform in order to train chainsaw operators in some key maintenance areas. This knowledge is presented in a way that is visual and engaging. This is learning in a “fun” way.
