The terms string, knot and bond are familiar in scouts. However, there is often a misconception about ropes, knots and ties. These three things are often interpreted the same. Though literally, these three things have different meanings.

Ropes are objects used in knots and ties. A knot is a string bond with a rope. The bond is the bond between the rope and the object such as the bond between the rope with 2 sticks.

Well here are some commonly used nodes and ties. Indonesians are more familiar with life vertices, dead nodes, base nodes, lasso nodes, anchor nodes. This time we show along with many international terms that are not yet known by Indonesian people.
