Allows user to easily monitor their cooler temperatures to ensure compliance.

As just one of the products offered by VeriSolutions, LLC, the VeriTemp system consists of a network of Bluetooth-emitting devices that interact with this mobile application to monitor temperatures in the food and beverage industry on a configurable basis.

The high-level idea is that one or more bluetooth-emitting beacons are placed in all refrigerators that a service establishment wishes to monitor for temperature compliance as dictated by the local Department of Health & Wellness.

This mobile application displays temperature readings from a server so that an establishment has the ability to confirm that all of their perishable inventory is kept at a safe temperature at all times. This knowledge is especially necessary for prevention of food-borne illness risk factors stemming from spoiled food, for health inspections, adhering to HACCP policies, and for when a cooler stops working unexpectedly.

Until now, restaurants had little to no insight into the real-time temperatures of their perishable inventory throughout the day. This application allows a service employee to track the temperatures of the establishment's coolers simply by logging into the app. With the enriched knowledge provided by this app, service establishments can confidently ensure safer products for their patrons and adherence to HACCP regulations.
