The channel which was launched in September 2020, started as a TV show in 2014 and aired contents created for the fun-loving young people from various language and topographical background. Meant to unite Africans under an umbrella of good entertainment, WatsUp TV is the platform for all things trendy, entertaining and informative for the yearning youth market within Africa and beyond.

The WatsUp TV idea stems from the awareness and the need to unite Africa across borders without fear of Language or religion. The concept believes that the 21st-century youth is more receptive to understand the cultural differences and embrace each other as a united youth of Africa.
