NMEA Repeater Affichage

YakMate is an NMEA data display that will run on any android device but was developed specifically to run on Android Smartwatches. Basically any device you can install an APK on should run YakMate.

YakMate gathers NMEA sentences via WiFi from the 'Yakker' NMEA 0183 to WiFi Bridge and displays the information you choose on your Android smartwatch, smartphone or tablet. This allows you to see your data like apparent wind speed, depth, speed, course etc anywhere you go.

Just connect your device to the Yakker's WiFi hotspot and run the app... that's all there is to it. Alternatively the Yakker can connect to your existing WiFi network so all of your devices can receive your NMEA data, including your navigation software.

This is a beta release. I have only added 7 NMEA sentences to choose from, so if you would like a particular sentence or data field added please let me know.

Press and hold one of the 6 data fields for 2 seconds and release to select the NMEA sentence to display there.
