VIKAS: Visual Intervention Kit with Analytics for Special children

VIKAS is an assorted collection of 9 major exercises in 21 sub exercises with 22 screens to enable Cognitive Visual Dysfunction (CVD). CVD describes vision impairment occurring due to damage to the brain where the eyes are able to see but the brain is not able to process / interpret what is being seen. CVD can be due to prematurity, structural / functional damage to the brain, Autism, Cerebral palsy etc. CVD can affect all aspects of educational, physical, social & emotional development.

The aim of VIKAS is to create a set of physiotherapy exercises for the children affected with CVD under the supervision of the parents / physiotherapists.

Following are some prerequisites for running VIKAS:

 Android Tablet with screen sizes 7” or above.

 Android OS version 17+ i.e., Jelly Bean and above.

 Use it in landscape display mode ONLY. (Not in portrait display mode).

 Internal storage of 40 MB minimum is needed.
